Devon Bank rolls out US Biometrics authentication technology

Devon Bank out of Chicago, IL has implemented a wide spectrum of US Biometrics' multi-factor authentication products in its brand new Wheeling branch.

Devon Bank's Wheeling branch is a leading example of green design. The project expects to achieve a Gold LEED certification, and is the first bank branch in the state of Illinois to be LEED registered.

Devon Bank has deployed the US Biometrics logical and physical control system, including hardware, software and services, with the goal of increasing security and adding convenience to everyday tasks for its employees. Not only is it making employee access to entryways, networks and software easier and faster, but it has also increased customer identity security and securely addressed risk assessment procedures required by regulators.

"We have been following the biometrics market very closely over several years and the progress that US Biometrics has made by converging physical access control with logical desktop control led us to the decision to implement the US Biometrics suite of products," states Dan Loundy, Vice President.

MemberQ: Authenticates employees to allow/deny secure and convenient access to important data. It is a biometric layer that is configured to work seamlessly with existing software.

AccessQ: A secure, convenient, and cost-effective method for granting access to a specific area such as a room or vault.

PassQ: Authenticates Users to their WindowsTM accounts and networks.

CentralQ: Allows the encrypted storage of credentials including biometric tokens, names, addresses, and other customer information.

CentralQ Reporting: Management can view and report on who accessed which resources at what time.
