Pegasystems AG is a legal entity and Ulrich Janda, sales director and managing director of Pegasystems AG, states: "We have been performing very well in central Europe, in spite of the tough economy we currently face. We deal with a number of major Swiss banks and a commitment of this magnitude is part of our continued expansion across Europe."

He continues, "We have a number of relationships with global companies which have their head-quarters in Switzerland and we are very keen to demonstrate our commitment, by getting geographically closer to them to ensure that doing business with Pegasystems is as convenient as possible. Our proposition is perfectly positioned, especially in today's market, to help our customers in the financial and banking sectors who are looking for greater agility to apply rapid process change to their businesses and deal with global forces around them."

Significant new hires have been made to support the region, with Sascha Meyer joining as an account executive from Credit Suisse and Daniel Steiner, senior sales consultant. Janda concludes: "This is not just about the sales team: we also have professional services and consulting services personnel in place and we are looking to increase the team in the near future. This is all part of our plan to continue improving customer service and account management to the world class standards that our customers have come to expect."
