Charles River Development (Charles River), an award-winning provider of financial software and services to the global investment management community, today announced that Gen Re Capital GmbH (Gen Re), a German asset manager for European insurance companies, has selected the Charles River Investment Management System (Charles River IMS) as its front office solution.
The firm will use Charles River Manager and Charles River Trader to automate operations for its fixed income-focused business. In addition, Charles River Compliance will enable Gen Re to monitor its portfolios against strict German regulations, including the Investmentgesetz, Derivateverordnung, Versicherungsaufsichtsgesetz and Anlageverordnung. Charles River IMS will also interface with Gen Re's three accounting systems, SS&C Camra, Sungard V3 & Kavia, to provide full straight-through processing.
