In the first podcast, pensions guru Steve Bee talks about the response from the Government to his petition on the Downing Street website. The podcast can be accessed via Scottish Life's website.

The second podcast in the series will cover defined benefit and defined contribution restructuring, looking at the barriers to entry in this market. This will be available next Friday on Scottish Life's adviser site.

John Hinder, Online Marketing Manager at Scottish Life, commented: "We are committed to exploiting the latest technology so as to communicate efficiently and cost-effectively with advisers, as was highlighted by a recent award for our online meeting tools. Podcasts provide us with an opportunity to discuss interesting and up to date pensions related issues in a lively and informative way. They are particularly useful for advisers as advisers can download and listen to them whenever and wherever it suits.

Most advisers are happy to use the internet to access information, so podcasting is a natural extension of our existing communication tools.
