Building on its current fixed income solution, in use today at market-leading banks, Iris Financial announced the release of the Fixed Income Front Office, a complete system covering pricing, risk, trade capture, quote management and connectivity for government and corporate bonds.

The Fixed Income Front Office is built on Iris Financial’s asset-neutral Component Services Architecture (CSA) technology, which provides high-performance, connected trading and financial management systems. Applications built using the CSA provide the user with rapid and controlled customization, ease-of-integration with legacy systems and real-time performance. Several solutions are currently being used for high-volume, real-time trading in both debt and equity markets.

Aviv Handler, VP of Product Strategy said: "Large and small fixed income trading organizations must find profitability in today's real-time markets which can be achieved by offering their clients a superior service and executing competitive market trading strategies.

Iris Financial's asset-neutral approach provides users with complete real-time trading and risk in one system, connected to both the market and clients. This release represents the first in a series, building out our front office product range."

Michael Laven CEO said: "Iris Financial has excelled at delivering high-performance, reliable trading systems to the world’s top financial institutions for many years. Now we are leveraging that expertise by packaging our components so that more banks can benefit from developed functionality faster. We are excited at being able to provide the benefits of our work to a larger audience."

Iris Financial solutions, based on the CSA, are currently in production at leading banks. The full Fixed Income Front Office system will be available at the end of 2004.
