Savvis currently provides Moneyline Telerate with privately managed IP VPN extranet services over 6000 client connections in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Under the revised deal, the IP company will also provide applications server management, including all field service, help desk support and data warehousing support.

Jon Robson, CEO, Moneyline Telerate, says: "Savvis' ability to deliver 99.999% availability site-to-site is remarkable. Now, with their improved financial position and proven track record in the financial services arena, it's an easy decision to further extend our partnership and look for new opportunities."

The new contract maintains the financial terms of the original $200 million minimum five-year agreement (announced October 19, 2001).

The companies say they will also work together to develop new services targeted to the financial community.
