Zurich Financial Services has contracted with middleware vendor XML Global Technologies to provide XML/EDI data transformation capabilities for the sharing of business information between partner financial institutions.
Under the agreement, Zurich will implement the GoXML Transform product line into its core systems to enable all business partners to change the format of their data, whether it be EDI or other legacy systems, into XML and back again.
This will ensure the efficient sharing of data between various institutions in one common language, says Tarmo Ploom of Zurich Financial Services.

"We chose XML Global's product because it will enable us to most rapidly and cost effectively deliver the EDI/XML data transformation requirements we and our clients need."
