Deutsche Bank is to use technology from Alphablox to provide an analytic infrastructure across the company's entire global enterprise.
InLine Analytics will link the German bank's CRM, financial planning systems and data sources for improved predictability and performance.
"Deutsche Bank's business is about information," says Michelle Schwabe, Deutsche Bank's chief operating officer, Europe. "We wanted to aggregate not just financial information, but also market data feeds and customer information to gain a unified view of our global business measurements and performance in real-time."
She says Alphablox's integration with application servers like BEA WebLogic and IBM Websphere will enable Deutsche Bank to apply predictive and proactive information analysis for broad deployment across the entire organisation versus restricting the analysis to departmental use.
Polly Sumner, president and CEO of Alphablox says that by fusing CRM and P&L data together, Alphablox analytics allow users to view and assess relationships between clients, products and geographical regions, enabling senior managers to improve client relationships and the top line of business for each customer.
