KeyCorp and TD Waterhouse have embarked on phase two of their marketing alliance, bringing online consumer access to home equity products to a total of 33 states.
In addition, the co-branded partnership now offers online account-level detail to TD Waterhouse customers.
The Key-TD Waterhouse alliance debuted in March with a co-branded Web site in the "Banking" section of TD Waterhouse's own Internet site. The alliance allows TD Waterhouse customers to apply online or by phone for Key's home equity line of credit. The site also contains product information, calculators and real-time rate and fee information.
"By the end of the year, residents of 48 states will benefit from Key's growing relationship with TD Waterhouse," says Tom Bayles, vice president for Key consumer real estate product development. The bank only has bricks-and-mortar branch presence in 13 states across the US.
Randall Miller, chief marketing officer of TD Waterhouse, comments: "Through the expansion of our partnership with Key, we will more aggressively market this service through our call centres and more than 150 TD Waterhouse branches, as well as on our statement inserts, transaction notices and Web site banner advertisements."
