Malaysian card issuer MBF Cards has contracted with Hypercom for the supply of 10,000 EMV-certified point-of-sale terminals and operating software.
MBF will roll out Hypercom's T7Plus terminal to retail outlets during the next 12 months.
The terminals include a 35-key keypad which is equipped with One-Touch shortcut keys for quick access to all transaction types and functions.
Al Alagappan, president of MBF Cards Malaysia, comments: "Hypercom's value-added, cost effective total solution delivers proven reliability, stability, security, high performance and fast EMV transactions. That is what our merchants are demanding."
