Glitch delays trading on OMX exchanges

Technical glitches have delayed trading on the Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen stock exchanges for the second time this week.

Handelsbanken fined SKr3m for Internet reporting violations

Swedish banking group Handelsbanken has been fined SKr3 million by the Stockholm Stock Exchange for violating reporting regulations by inadvertently posting its third quarter results on an unprotected section of its Web site before releasing them to the market.

Stockholm and Toronto exchanges settle lawsuits

The Stockholm Stock Exchange has reached an agreement to repay 19 of its customers Skr99 million plus interest in settlement of a VAT lawsuit. The Toronto Stock Exchange, meanwhile, has settled with Ashton Technology to pay C$3.33 million plus C$0.2 million costs over a collapsed agreement to provide stock pricing technology.
