Nyse back in the black in Q4; takes $29.2 million charge after laying off 500 staff

NYSE Group, Inc. (NYSE: NYX) today reported net income of $45.5 million, or $0.29 per diluted share, for the three months ended December 31, 2006, a $65.8 million increase as compared to a $20.3 million loss, or $(0.18) per diluted share, for the three months ended December 31, 2005.
