Veracity renews Tsys processing deal

TSYS (NYSE: TSS) announced today that it has extended its long-term agreement with Veracity Payment Solutions to serve as their full-service payment solutions provider.

A North American acquirer offering full-service payment technology to more than 12,000 businesses nationwide and processing approximately $2 billion in transaction volume annually, Veracity will utilize TSYS' robust point-of-sale solutions and flexible, reliable systems to support an aggressive growth strategy.

"We are delighted to continue as Veracity's growth partner," said Tim Munto, group executive of Sales and Client Relations for TSYS Acquiring Solutions. "With a common goal of growth and customer service, TSYS is well positioned to be Veracity's processing solutions partner."

"TSYS has a breadth of value-added resources and a proven strategy to provide superior support to its clients," said Joe Cohane, chief executive officer of Veracity Payment Solutions. "We value the consistency and stability of TSYS' core processing services, which will continue to serve our clients and help grow our business."

Terms of the long-term agreement were not disclosed.
