The Finextra and FISD Webcast Partnership 2010

Finextra and the Financial Information Services Division (FISD) have teamed up to run a series of webcasts looking at a range of data topics in 2010. The webcast partnership will focus on real-time data management and delivery, reference data and of course, standards.

Combining Finextra's community of 135,000 monthly users and the FISD's global membership of 140 institutions provides sponsors with an excellent outreach platform. Over 2,500 market professionals have registered to attend Finextra video webcasts since March 2009.

The webcasts offer an excellent opportunity for firms to engage with key industry topics and reach out to a wide client (and prospective client) base. Studio discussions are broadcast via real-time streaming video to an invited audience of financial professionals who can interact with panellists.

Alternatively, panels can record ‘live to tape', and then broadcast via the web at a specific event time. Both versions are offered on an on-demand basis after the web event for additional lead generation and publicity.

How does it work?

Finextra in partnership with the FISD work with sponsors to deliver a webcast agenda and content, generate speakers, provide studio facilities and the Flash enabled webcast. Speakers include a representative from the sponsoring firm as well as senior executives from banks and institutions and high profile industry experts.

Then via advertising, direct email campaigns and editorial coverage to the Finextra and FISD community an audience will be generated for the live interactive webcast.
