At lsst I have found an opportunity to record some of my views of this year's SIBOS.
The journey was longer than usual, but gave chance to catch up on the reading and think about what to expect from the event this year. After being used to being spoilt as a Board member and seeing the long queues to register, I was impressed with how easy and efficient it was to use the fast track service yesterday. Well done SWIFT for speeding up the process. I hope you all were able to benefit from this service - if not make sure you do for next year.
As usual I spent the first half hour trying to find my bearings around the Exhibition Hall. Deceptively large, with some old friends and some new names on the stands. Lots of activity already - or are they just briefing sessions?
I am off to do some more exploring, before joing the IBM networking event and attending the Payments Transformation session. Change and transformation should be common themes this week. But the real challenge for the industry is how to make sure change is truly customer driven.
