Samuel named SVP, product development, Computershare Investor Services

Computershare (ASX: CPU), a leading financial services provider for the global securities industry, today announced that Sajoo Samuel will join the firm as Senior Vice President, Product Development, Computershare Investor Services.

Sajoo will focus on bringing new shareholder servicing solutions to US clients.

"Over the next year, Computershare will be launching a considerable number of new products that will improve the share ownership experience for investors while enhancing shareholder relations for public companies," said Jay McHale, President of Computershare's US Equity Services. "Sajoo has been working directly with clients in the shareholder servicing space for over 16 years and knows their unique needs and challenges. His efforts will be aligned to meet those needs and challenges."

Sajoo was most recently with BNY Mellon Shareowner Services, where he spent over four years developing and managing the firm's most significant client relationships for shareholder services and equity compensation plans. Prior to that, Sajoo was at EquiServe, now part of Computershare. At EquiServe, Sajoo developed and implemented cutting-edge products related to electronic voting and distribution of materials and electronic participation in demutualization and exchange offers.

Sajoo holds two master's degrees in physics from Queens College, New York, and University of Poona, India.
