Spain's Bankia has launched a sticker and app-based mobile contactless payments service.

Bankia customers who order the sticker and download the iOS or Android app, can make low-value, in-store contactless payments with a tap of their handsets.

The app can also be used for online purchases, to check balances, manage cards, transfer funds and top up mobile phones.

Last week BBVA launched a host card emulation-based mobile NFC payments service while CaixaBank is distributing contactless wristbands to customers.
