In October 2015 Tcam’s leadership team Alex Montgomery and Haig Bathgate, Joint CEOs, revealed they would be working with new investors to identify growth opportunities and expand the company’s client network. Amongst the investors are respected industry heavyweights Crispin Odey, Stuart Mitchell, François Simon and Robin Parbrook.

Tcam is now focusing on building its marketing strategy, rebranding, and implementing new technological developments which will allow it to capitalise on the growth opportunities and to enhance the delivery of services to current clients. Montgomery and Bathgate are also bedding down Tcam’s very strong and much improved high calibre team.

New hires and promotions include:

Jenny Mitchell, Director of Operations & Change. Mitchell has joined Tcam to drive forward enhancements to operational efficiency and scalability. She comes to Tcam with over 15 years’ experience in the asset management industry and a specialisation in leading strategic and tactical change. Her most recent experience was gained with KPMG working in the savings, wealth and asset management advisory practice where she spent 5 years working across the sector to design and deliver target operating model change programmes.

Marek Krzeczkowski who recently re-joined from Baillie Gifford having previously headed up the risk function will take on the management of the investment research team. A graduate of Gdansk and Heriot-Watt universities in econometrics and computer science, Krzeczkowski has considerable experience across the financial industry, having worked previously for Baillie Gifford, Standard Life Investments, BlackRock and Urbicus.

With the rebrand and new investment come significant opportunities for particularly strong candidates to join the Tcam team – opportunities to play a material role in driving the growth of the business across the UK.

Bathgate stated “As part of the shift in the direction of our company, we have strengthened our team and worked with our colleagues to embed a high performance, client-centric culture. As is common when cultures evolve, other changes occur and we are also announcing the departure of David Robertson and Richard Hyder. Both left the business in recent weeks and we would like to wish them well in their future careers.”
