Wallaby Financial, the leader in mobile and web-based credit card optimization and marketing solutions, today announced that it has named Scott Grimes as its Senior Vice President, Risk and Operations.

He will oversee all risk, corporate compliance, data security, and operations for the fast growing financial services company, and will report to Matthew Goldman, Wallaby's Chief Executive Officer and Founder.

This newly created role is in response to Wallaby's emergence as a leader in credit card optimization solutions. As the new Senior Vice President, Risk and Operations, Mr. Grimes will work closely with senior executives to enhance the management and monitoring of risk, compliance and information and operational areas across the company.

Mr. Grimes is a risk management professional with over twenty years experience in fraud, AML and compliance functions. He was previously Vice President, Risk Management at Green Dot Corporation, a publicly owned leader in the financial services industry. Mr. Grimes served in this role from 2007 to 2013. Prior to joining Green Dot, Mr. Grimes also served in senior executive roles focused on risk and compliance at Target Corporation and Capital One Financial Corporation.

"The addition of Scott to our team is an important step for Wallaby," said Matthew Goldman, Founder and CEO of Wallaby Financial. "Scott's successful involvement with leading financial and retail services organizations gives him an invaluable perspective and skill set. He also loves the challenges and opportunities presented by fast growing companies like ours. We couldn't be happier to have him on board."

Mr. Grimes will spearhead risk prevention and operational processes behind each of Wallaby's consumer solutions including the Wallaby® App (available at www.walla.by/mobile or through the iTunes or Google Play store), and WalletBoost™, a credit card reward maximization solution (available at https://www.walla.by/boost). The company is also developing the Wallaby Card -- a single card to replace a user's entire wallet of cards. Users can join the beta wait list for the Wallaby Card at https://www.walla.by
