Capco adds Barry O'Connell to North America banking team

Capco, the global business and technology consultancy dedicated solely to the financial services industry, today announced the addition of Barry O'Connell to the firm's Banking Practice Partner team in North America.

O'Connell brings over 13 years of experience in the banking and payments industry - including consumer, small business and commercial payments - with a strong focus on digital and mobile innovation. Based out of the Capco's New York City office, O'Connell will work closely with the team on developing growth strategies for corporations, including go-to-market, market entry and new business creation.

Prior to joining Capco, O'Connell served as head of Accenture's Financial Services Strategy practice in North America. Throughout his 13 year tenure at the firm, O'Connell helped to deliver a number of strategic initiatives for large, global banking and payment companies across North America and Europe, including the development of new product strategy, digital and mobile strategy and operating model design.

O'Connell graduated from Durham University and Leuven University with a degree in Law LLB.
