The appointments were effective in late 2013.

In his new role as global head of technology infrastructure, Mr. Saluzzo oversees end-to-end product management, operational support, and infrastructure risk management, including data center, cloud, and end user technologies. He has oversight for vendor management supporting infrastructure, as well as joint oversight of the company's IT-related supplier sourcing. He is a member of the Technology Executive Team and serves on the company's Global Management Team.

Mr. Saluzzo most recently served at Goldman Sachs as Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Technology Infrastructure, leading data strategies for the firm, including big data, storage tiering, infrastructure risk management, mobile/bring-your-own-device and workplace infrastructure design. He began his career at NCR Corporation (then a division of AT&T). He holds dual degrees in computer science and mathematics from the State University of New York's College at Geneseo, where he remains active on the board of the Geneseo Foundation. He also is a board member of Out on the Street, a leadership and networking organization for LGBT senior leaders in financial services.

In his new role as CTO, Mr. Sathe is responsible for technology strategy, enterprise architecture and shared platform engineering, combined with shared digital and mobile design and engineering. In addition, he has oversight for technology support for mergers and acquisitions and the company's internal technical contributor network. He is a member of the Technology Executive Team and serves on the company's Global Management Team.

Mr. Sathe most recently led product and engineering efforts for the Google Wallet digital payments platform. Previously, he held leadership roles at PayPal, including co-CTO leading the technology organization to transform its payments platform, as well as interim Vice President for Product Development overseeing expansion of PayPal's footprint in digital goods and offline point-of-sale transactions, and building out the developer API platform. Mr. Sathe has prior experience at JP Morgan Chase and several start-up and public technology/software companies. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Lafayette College and serves on the advisory boards of several technology start-ups and a venture firm.
