National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia's central securities depository, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrei Malakhov as Director of IT Support Department.
In his new role, Mr. Malakhov will be responsible for development of the operating model of the IT unit using the process approach to IT services provided to the internal and external customers; the process approach will allow to improve accessibility and operating reliability of the company's IT systems.
Andrei Malakhov brings his 20 years' experience in IT industry to the company. Prior to joining NSD, he held a number of senior IT positions in major foreign companies. In 2009-2014, he headed IT Systems Department in BNP Paribas (Moscow), where reorganized the team and implemented the IT management processes in accordance with the best ITIL practices.
Mr. Malakhov graduated with honors from Zhitomir Air Defense Radio Electronics Higher Military School. He holds numerous professional certificates and diplomas, including IT Governance and Control using CoBiT, ITIL v3.
