Private Banking specialist, Arbuthnot Latham has launched a new mobile banking App to its clients.

The bank prides itself on its high levels of personal service and the mobile banking App's release is the latest collaboration with Sandstone Technology to improve its online and digital banking services to an ever demanding client base.

The mobile banking app operates on both Apple iOS and Android platforms providing a full range of secure services including account balance/ transaction reporting and the ability to make payments.

James Fleming, Chief Executive at the bank commented 'Clients have an expectation that their banking services keep up to pace with technological developments in their day to day life. Smart phones and tablet devices are the convenient and efficient way for busy clients to keep on-top of their daily banking needs. We are delighted with the mobile banking App and I know that our clients will be too'. The mobile banking app's deployment is only one of a number of digital and online banking projects that the bank has commenced to enhance its online presence.

The decision to select Sandstone as the bank's digital banking platform was taken after lengthy vendor assessment. Key to the selection process was the ability to demonstrate a strategy and philosophy to provide future innovative banking services on evolving devices, with one eye on the next technological advance and the personalisation of client services.

Sandstone's BankFast digital banking platform has been widely deployed globally and their client base is increasing in the UK. Colin Rankin, General Manager of Sandstone said 'The launch of the Arbuthnot Banking App follows fast on other similar client deployments for Sandstone and will offer significant benefits to the bank's clients in regards to convenience of service. Sandstone is finding a major change in the way clients wish to converse with their financial institutions and the mobile App is only the first of a number of initiatives that we are workiing on to make banking and financial services more accessible'.

Gary Bone - IT Manager at the bank said 'This deployment for Arbuthnot Latham is a signal to the marketplace that we provide the best digital banking services to our clients, whilst maintaining the highest levels of security. We continue to strive for excellence and the partnership with Sandstone Technology is a significant step in our commitment to achieving this'.
