HID® Risk Management Solution HID® Risk Management Solution is a threat and fraud detection solution using a real-time risk profiling technology that protects financial institutions against cybercriminals. It empowers financial institutions to protect transparently their end-users but also to ensure that their corporate data against threats, also known as zero-day threats, that target online and mobile banking, transaction systems and sensitive applications. It offers an adaptive security strategy from anywhere and from any device that goes beyond simple passwords. The Appliance offers a layered approach that enables banks to tailor the authentication method (e.g. strong password) and authenticator (e.g. hardware/soft token or smart card) to specific user groups and risk levels.

This approach addresses banks' customer needs by allowing them to conveniently and securely access their accounts, online or on their mobile phones. It can also be used for employee security to protect VPN access, cloud-based applications and web applications.
