Portware, Random Walk and IBM team to deliver algorithmic trading solution

Portware, Random Walk Computing and IBM today announced Portware on POWER, a new solution for algorithmic trading that combines Portware's Strategy Server and IBM System p entry-level servers with Random Walk's consulting and integration services.

The system is designed for financial organizations challenged by an exponential increase in market data, regulatory pressures and increasingly competitive markets where compute- intensive analytics and transaction processing are critical.
