The Tribe Core Platform will be seamlessly integrated into the Temenos platform, allowing its customers to enhance and expand their card offerings. From fintechs through to larger banks and corporates, Tribe’s scalable and modular payments technology provides solutions to their challenges, regardless of size.

Temenos Exchange brings innovation to market faster, and at scale. The ecosystem offers pre-integrated and approved fintech solutions that can be easily deployed on top of Temenos’ open platform for composable banking, enabling banks to accelerate the creation of new financial services, while reducing the costs of development.

Martin Bailey, Director of Innovation and Ecosystems, Temenos, said: “Temenos Exchange acts as an accelerator for fintechs and software developers, helping them develop, validate and monetize new banking solutions. The integration with Temenos and joining Temenos Exchange means Tribe Payments can write once and be readily available to the thousands of banks globally that run on our platform.”

“Tribe’s availability on Temenos Exchange further extends our commitment to the banking community and enables Temenos customers to easily reap the benefits of the Tribe Core Platform. We look forward to leveraging the power of the Temenos platform to help us achieve our business goals,” said Tristen Hinds, Head of Partnerships at Tribe.

Expanding on the capabilities of Tribe’s Core Platform, George Tsoutsos, Tribe’s Senior VP of Strategic Growth added: “Our system has been designed for change makers. It is a modular payment technology platform made for brands that operate at the frontier of payments. As rapidly as payments technology is changing, so too are market expectations. And customer experience is where pioneers in payments are making some of the biggest wins.”

An increasing number of fintechs are looking to become both an issuer and acquirer, and Tribe is one of the few providers who can easily support this ambition, with its unrivalled breadth of products, combined with modern cloud-based API-led technology. Its development agility allows clients to build, customise and deliver innovative programs at speed, without compromising quality.

All of Tribe’s technology is built in house and, thanks to continuous refactoring, this is continuously updated, learning constantly from current market behaviours and adapting seamlessly. This means that the Tribe Core Platform is future-proofed.

The acquirer processor solution allows regulated acquirers the ability to manage their merchant, whether digital or physical, including access to a fraud management system - Risk Monitor - and Tribe’s proprietary 3D Secure system (3DS). Tribe offers levels of bespoke services to create intuitive multi-channel payment experiences to suit any portfolio of merchants. In addition to POS, a purpose-built Soft POS and online payment gateway include the option to white-label.

Tribe’s issuer processor card management system gives its customers complete control over their programs, whether virtual, physical or tokenised, as well as important functionality such as BIN management, card files delivery and its Open Banking facility. The flexibility of Tribe’s hierarchical customer construct and the ability to customise and generate new programmes quickly means that the fundamentals and value-adds of a front-of-wallet card programme are all provided by a single platform.

Tribe’s white-label digital banking solution is a sophisticated route to deliver a full digital payments experience, combining front-end wallet capabilities for end users to manage cards, bank transfer and crypto payments, with back-end functionality that supports banking services. Tribe provides an Open Banking compliance API, which enables fintechs to easily meet their PSD2 compliance obligations.

Arguably most important of all, the Tribe Core Platform is reliable and trustworthy, with an uptime figure of 99.99%, and is connected to all major card schemes: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, JCB and UnionPay.
