Tradeware Global appoints John Shaw vice president, quality assurance

Tradeware Global Corp., the leading broker-neutral solution provider for electronic access to 58 equity markets worldwide, today announced the appointment of John Shaw to the newly created position of Vice-President, Quality Assurance.

Over the course of the last several months Tradeware has announced organizational shifts necessary to build its global offerings and presence. Shaw's appointment assures that Tradeware has in place the internal management necessary for its reinvigorated product development programs and client service enhancements. He is responsible for establishing renewed quality standards for Tradeware offerings, and the internal processes to manage and verify that the standards are met.

Shaw brings substantive experience to the role. He served as the Senior IT Advisor and Architect for the Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) Trading Desk for Barclays Capital. At Barclay's he was responsible for the building, testing, deployment and monitoring of all MBS trading applications globally. Prior to Barclays, Shaw spent 10 years in various management positions within development, quality assurance, and operations for Federal Reserve Information Technology (FRIT), Barnesandnoble.com, Compuware, Insurance Services Office (ISO), and Citibank. His IT career began in the military as a Signals and Electronics Warfare Officer as part of the Army's 82nd Airborne Division; then, most recently, as a Captain leading numerous Technical Reconnaissance and Surveillance missions throughout the world.
