The appointment represents another milestone for Royal Park Partners as it approaches its third anniversary. Since launching in late 2019 it has established itself as EMEA’s most active fintech advisor, expanded to New York, and raised over $1 billion for its clients.

In his new role Gamaleri will focus on supporting fintech founders and private equity-backed companies through capital raises, M&A transactions, and IPOs. His background in financial institutions M&A brings a new dimension to Royal Park Partners’ advisory offering. As the fintech sector becomes increasingly regulated, and its funding base evolves, knowledge of regulatory requirements, financing solutions, and industry standards is crucial.

He bolsters the team's capabilities and expertise, bringing extensive experience from Barclays Investment Bank, where he was a senior director in the FIG EMEA M&A team, having joined in 2013 from Société Générale. At Barclays he helped develop the European franchise, focusing on listed banks, specialty and diversified financials, and headed up its coverage of the credit management services sector. In this role, Gamaleri advised banks on the sale of large NPL portfolios, as well as strategic acquisitions, divestments and recapitalisations.

The move represents another step towards Royal Park Partners’ goal to curate the most comprehensive strategic fintech advisory talent in the world. Niccolò joins Aman Behzad, Abhimanyu Toor, and John Clark as part of an expanded leadership team, combining over 60 years of advisory experience.
