Siemens Business Services (SBS) has received three orders from Bankgesellschaft Berlin AG/Landesbank Berlin AG.
SBS will provide IT services, and look after the CRM system and printers.
SBS had already been providing IT services for the bank since 2001, and in the new invitation to bid for IT services, SBS has now once again been awarded the bid. The Siemens subsidiary will look after the voice and data networks, servers, desktop and telecommunications systems for a further five years. This will also involve SBS testing the use of new hardware and software components in its own IT lab and running the user help desk for the daily queries of the banking staff – from IT to commercial applications at the bank. In addition, SBS will run the Siebel-based CRM system for Bankgesellschaft Berlin / Landesbank Berlin and service its printers, copiers and multifunctional devices.
