Williams Capital Group to implement FutureTrade platform

The Williams Capital Group, L.P. (Williams Capital), a leading minority-owned institutional brokerage firm providing full service execution to institutions, hedge funds and corporations and FutureTrade, a leading provider of electronic equity, option and algorithmic trading execution services, today announced an agreement whereby Williams Capital's clients will use the FutureTrade electronic trading platform for self-directed direct market access and algorithmic execution and FutureTrade's clients will have direct electronic access to Williams Capital's equity desk.

Under the terms of the private label agreement, Williams Capital will market the latest FutureTrade offering, Version 3.3, which features advanced algorithms, transaction cost analysis, commission management and integration with all of the major buy-side Order Management Systems.

Through the FutureTrade platform, Williams Capital's users can execute single stock and list trades through their choice of electronic execution venue or through a suite of algorithms including VWAP, implementation shortfall and BLOCK. Users can utilize the order management capabilities of the platform to facilitate internal communication between traders, implement and track orders, view portfolio values and P/L in real-time and allocate executions or integrate with their chosen OMS. Execution quality can be measured using the integrated transaction cost analysis capabilities.

Beginning immediately, Williams Capital's users can benefit from the latest features available through FutureTrade's platform which have been designed to further enhance the ease and functionality of the platform while enabling integrated multi-security trading of equities. Recent upgrades include support for list trading, order staging and symbol-based order preferences in equities as well as integrated independent transaction cost and commission analysis.
