Bisys to implement AccessData's SalesView

BISYS, a leading provider of business process outsourcing solutions for the financial services sector, has established a strategic alliance with AccessData which enables BISYS to support its investment management clients with AccessData's SalesView Partner Edition, a sophisticated Web-based sales reporting solution.

The SalesView Partner Edition was jointly packaged by BISYS and AccessData to meet the growing demand for a state-of-the-art sales reporting solution available in an outsourced environment, which inherently eliminates the need for investment management firms to purchase, implement, and maintain complex software; and their ongoing responsibility for data management and security.

According to AccessData, SalesView is the only Web-native sales, compliance, and compensation solution available in the market today. It provides online, on-demand access to detailed, accurate, and timely sales and asset information across multiple product lines, including mutual funds, managed accounts, variable annuities, retirement accounts, and other investment products.

SalesView features online data queries and generates sales, sales compliance, sales trends, and compensation reporting based on full integration with the shareholder and retirement plan participant recordkeeping systems supporting all distribution channels.

Sales information can be organized and reported based on unique organizational views, and can be easily changed as distribution channels, sales territory assignments, and product offerings evolve. The SalesView service also ensures complete data stewardship and allows diverse clients to add the optional features necessary to support their unique requirements, including client relationship management functionality (CRM), additional reporting capabilities, and proprietary data feeds.

According to Fred Naddaff, president of BISYS Fund Services, "Today's financial services marketplace requires investment companies to be more competitive than ever with their offerings and to be far more targeted with their distribution initiatives. SalesView will allow BISYS' clients to know where they are successful by easily and accurately tracking sales on multiple levels, including sales at the complex level, fund level, and distribution firm level, as well as sales by individual representatives. As a result of our unique ability to offer SalesView in an outsourced environment, BISYS' clients also realize inherent operational and cost efficiencies."

Frank Polefrone, senior vice president of AccessData, said, "BISYS' clients now have access to the sophisticated and flexible sales reporting tools that will enable them to effectively support their growth goals, efficiently track their sales, and ensure their compliance with the sales-related regulatory reporting requirements."

George Evans, executive vice president of business development for BISYS Investment Services, said, "The SalesView service will help our clients fully and easily understand the results of their distribution efforts and ultimately enable them to focus their resources on the most successful, growth-enabling distribution initiatives. The ability to accurately track point-of-sale activity using SalesView also is extremely beneficial for our clients considering the regulatory issues related to market timing that have recently arisen. We consider SalesView to be a value-added, competitively distinct enhancement to our broad service offering."
