Commonwealth Bank appoints new executive general manager for corporate affairs

CBA’s Group Executive Monique Macleod has announced the appointment of Kylie Smith as the Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs, commencing 7 March.

Kylie has more than 25 years’ experience in corporate affairs, marketing and communications in Australian financial services. She was most recently Group Executive Communications, Digital and Marketing for MLC Wealth at National Australia Bank responsible for corporate affairs, marketing, communications, digital, product disclosure and customer complaints. This followed her role as Group Executive Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Perpetual Limited and earlier senior leadership positions in corporate affairs at Westpac and BT Financial Group.

Today’s announcement follows the recent appointment of Jo Boundy as the bank’s new Chief Marketing Officer, commencing 28 March.

“I’m looking forward to welcoming Kylie and Jo to CommBank’s Marketing and Corporate Affairs Leadership team,” Ms Macleod said.
