Bharat Bhushan joins KPMG financial services technology practice

KPMG in the UK has appointed Bharat Bhushan as a Partner in its Financial Services Technology practice.

Bharat will act as Chief Technology Officer for Consulting and will strengthen the firm’s offering to clients in areas such as innovation and business platforms, digital transformation, and cloud migration.

Bharat joins KPMG from IBM where he has worked since 2007. For the last seven years, Bharat served as IBM’s Chief Technology Officer for financial services. He has worked with banks and financial services firms across the EMEA region, delivering repeatable technology platforms and solutions such as Open Banking, legacy systems transformation, and payments architecture. Bharat is also passionate about nurturing talent and future leaders, and has engaged with several UK universities by delivering guest lectures.
