Michael Santner has joined European payments leader Nets, part of Nexi Group, as Head of PSP DACH.
In this role, he is responsible for e-commerce payment activities in the DACH region.
His central focus is on the further development and growth of the e-commerce payment solution Easy, introduced in Germany and Austria this year, and which delivers a particularly fast and uncomplicated check-out with its ‘remember-me’ function - something particularly appealing to small- and medium-sized merchants.
Michael has built an extensive knowledge of payments over 20 years of professional experience, including senior European management positions at Wirecard.
The Nets PSP DACH team, under Santner, will make at least a dozen further appointments by the end of Q1 2022 as the company continues to strengthen and expand its e-commerce activities in the DACH region.
