Moneyhub, the market-leading Open Banking and Open Finance data, intelligence and payments platform, is partnering with Legado, Open Document and Life Planning FinTech provider, to provide Legado’s encrypted personal Digital Vault services to Moneyhub’s clients.

Wealth management and pension clients that send out millions of account statements and policy documents to their customers each year by post, can now send the documents securely and electronically via Moneyhub. Legado’s pioneering digital vault solution will be embedded into the Moneyhub platform providing an ordered and secure location for holding customers' annual statements, life insurance policies, pension and mortgage statements and other important documents.

Customers of clients that use the Moneyhub platform to gain complete visibility of their finances will now be able to store documents related to their transactions, investments and savings, as well as other personal documentation and plans. By holding all their statements from different providers and products in one place, consumers can get a clearer picture of their financial histories and plan for the future.

The collaboration will also enable people to securely share documents and information with selected third parties, such as advisers, friends and family, ensuring individuals and businesses have the right information at the right time. Each user will receive their own personal, portable and access-controlled vault, with features including after-death sharing and data integrations.

Legado is backed by UK insurer M&G and Edinburgh-based global platform-as-a-service provider FNZ.

Sam Seaton, CEO of Moneyhub said: “As an Open Finance and Open Banking leader, Moneyhub truly is a hub for money, offering connections to pension and wealth management accounts, banking, insurance and investment, and more. And one thing all the various account types have in common is paperwork, which is why we have partnered with Legado to offer our clients a market-leading digital vault solution.”

Josif Grace, CEO & Founder of Legado said: “As two technology leaders focused on helping businesses create exceptional digital experiences and consumers better prepare for the future, this partnership made a lot of sense. We are delighted to be working with the team at MoneyHub to create a world-class proposition.”
