Pyxis is expanding in response to growing demand from its clients, which include over 40% of the top 50 global asset managers.

Underpinning the expansion is the appointment of Glen Bashian to the role of Executive Vice President of Sales. Bashian is a technology and financial services specialist with over 20 years of industry experience.

Prior to joining Pyxis Mobile, Bashian was the Vice President of Sales for Financial Engines, the leading provider of advisory and managed account solutions for Fortune 500 employers. At Financial Engines, Bashian built a sales force from the ground up, acquiring 900 clients, establishing a partnership with the State of Florida, and generating over $35 Million in sales.

Shane Hughes, CEO, Pyxis Mobile comments, "This expansion demonstrates our laser focus on the financial services industry by placing dedicated staff in the two of the world's most important financial centers. Our New York and London offices provide a platform for even greater customer support and a launch pad for future growth."

Bashian will be based in Pyxis' Boston headquarters and will oversee the firm's worldwide sales operations. Bashian comments, "After 20 years in both technology and financial services, I am excited to be joining a company which offers such a sought after suite of solutions. Pyxis has already demonstrated a great track record for growth and I look forward to helping drive its continued expansion."
