Transaction Network Services (TNS) has made two senior executive changes as part of its growth strategy to become the leading provider of global communications and transactions solutions.
TNS Ireland managing director Mark Collins comes on board as the new managing director for TNS UK and Ireland, while UK managing director Ray Low takes a new role as president of TNS' International Services Division (ISD).
Mark has been with TNS since 1999, heading up its Welwyn Garden City operations before taking over as managing director of TNS Ireland in 2000. Prior to that he was senior manager of Electronic Banking Support with Bank of Ireland and brings over 25 years IT and banking experience to TNS’ UK and Ireland operations.
Commenting on his appointment, Mark Collins says, "It is a fantastic opportunity and I'm absolutely delighted to take on this new responsibility. Retailers, banks and financial institutions are all looking to deliver cost savings and improve communications between offices, suppliers and customers. Our UK and Ireland offices will be working together to help customers meet these goals and continue to broaden our offering into new areas."
Ray Low established TNS' presence in the UK in 1996 and has grown TNS' UK business from a standing start to a multi-million pound annual business in just nine years. In his new role, Ray will look to develop TNS' global offerings and increase its market share in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
"I'm really excited to take on this new role," says Ray Low. "UK operations will be in very capable hands and I'm sure Mark will also be bringing his own ideas to the table to help us achieve our ambitious sales targets and continue to deliver excellent service to our customers. Internationally, we'll be looking to roll out new products to accelerate growth and create further opportunities in new markets."
