BISYS, a leading provider of outsourcing solutions for the financial services sector, today announced a partnership with Feith Systems to provide broker/dealer and advisory firms with a total regulatory compliance and records management solution.
"BISYS Regulatory and Consulting Services provides our clients with the guidance and expertise they need to achieve a culture of compliance in an intensely regulated, changing environment. Our professional staff includes former regulators who have extensive experience in relevant compliance matters. While we offer this objective consulting expertise, Feith brings the underlying technology and tools that can augment our findings and recommendations," explained George Evans, executive vice president of business development, BISYS Investment Services.
To complement BISYS' regulatory guidance, Feith Systems will provide access to its Legal and Compliance Workbench as well as its Litigation Support and e-Discovery Platform. The Workbench creates a composite operational dashboard that integrates analytical data and related documents that can then be used as a point of oversight and collaboration for compliance teams. It provides case file management, audit trails, and transaction histories. "The Workbench is an efficient tool to eliminate searching on multiple systems for information or inappropriate activity," said Robert Goldstein, compliance practice director, Feith Systems and Software, Inc. "It serves to maximize the data and content a firm already has in various systems by integrating and reconciling key information."
E-mail retention as it relates to SEC Rule 17a-4 and Rule 204(2) of the Advisers Act has become a compliance priority and a costly, time-consuming burden for many investment firms. "Our partnership with Feith is one way that BISYS strives to address our clients’ needs to ensure proper retention, management and disposal of E-mail communications," commented Mr. Evans. Feith's Litigation Support and e-Discovery Platform is designed to take the dependency off of the IT and legal departments to locate, retrieve, and investigate the enterprise message and content archives.
"In this unique alignment that will ultimately benefit our clients," Mr. Evans said, "Feith offers the power of their technology, and BISYS provides the brainpower and services of its seasoned regulatory and compliance consultants."
