This hire reflects Fidessa's ongoing strategy to strengthen the Workstation team and provide greater support to a user community that has doubled in the past year. Green will report to Simon McDowell, director of execution services.

Green will ensure that Fidessa continues to deliver the high level of support that users have come to expect. Green will initially focus on supporting the expanding client base of buy-side users of execution management systems within the Fidessa Workstation.

Green has some six years involvement with support desks and has gained valuable experience as a customer services manager within various providers of market data and trading platforms.

Kellie Green comments: "With its established pedigree technology, global connectivity and ease of use, Fidessa Workstation is what the market wants and I know first hand that the take up will continue. I now have the opportunity to build on my strengths and also support transactional, execution and order routing services, areas in which Workstation is particularly strong. This is an exciting time for Fidessa and I am delighted to be part of the team."

Simon Barnby, global director of marketing communications, Fidessa adds: "Workstation has already become the product of choice for City trading professionals. We are raising our game by targeting the buy-side whilst at the same time we want to continue to provide our current users the highest quality of client services and Kellie brings a wealth of experience in this domain."

The award-winning Fidessa Workstation is a comprehensive market-data system, with a suite of additional trading and execution management modules. The Fidessa product suite provides integrated trading, market data and connectivity solutions to over 8500 users at around 200 clients globally.
