Tall Group launches send-a-cheque service for under-resourced customers

Source: Tall Group

As the country steels itself for another three weeks of COVID-19 lockdown, the TALL Group – TALL Security Print, Checkprint and DLRT – designated as ‘critical suppliers’ are all still working hard to fulfil customer requirements.

The challenge of generating payments from under-resourced, remotely-based and possibly disconnected entities, is being highlighted by many of TALL’s customers.

To help solve these payment problems, the TALL Group is making available its remote cheque issuance platform, Send-A-Cheque™, to any bona fide bank customer to prepare and distribute payment cheques on their behalf. The Send-A-Cheque™ service user has to simply supply payment details to TALL and within 48 hours a fully and securely infilled (and signed – by agreement) cheque will be posted back to the payer for distribution, or indeed mailed directly to the payee. A major time and resource saving proposition in the current difficult climate. As a further commitment to make this service as accessible as possible, the TALL Group will waive its set-up charges for new users, for at least the next two months.

The Send-A-Cheque™ service sits alongside the other Business Process Outsourcing activities offered by the Group including its secure Send-A-Payment™ service for Bacs and Faster Payments; accredited print bureau for regular or ad-hoc uses; business cheque & credit services and an Auto-Replenishment facility providing a multi-location cheque and credit stock control system that automatically manages customer’s stock across a number of their locations through secure data connections.

Martin Ruda, TALL Group Managing Director, applauds the dedication of the Group’s staff and their willingness to ‘go-the-extra-mile’ for their customers during the lockdown. He added, “Across our sites we have had to make changes to enable us to operate under strict Government guidelines, but these changes have brought about a strong desire to help satisfy the immediate problems being experienced by our customers. Where we can provide extra resource to organisations through our Business Process Outsourcing services, and in particular our Send-A-Cheque™ facility, we will endeavour to act on their behalf to ensure that they can enjoy business-as-normal support over the coming months. We are all in this together and by stepping in to assist our customers, we can get through this difficult time”.
