Sberbank launches anti-crisis support platform to help SMEs move online

Source: Sberbank

Bringing together best business mentors in Russia to a single platform, Sberbank has launched SberUnity, an anti-crisis support project for small and medium-sized businesses.

The goal of the initiative is to help businesses find new solutions and transform their companies from offline to online ones.

SberUnity for SMEs is the first online platform where businessmen from various industries across all regions of Russia can get advice from professional business mentors or find new solutions for their businesses on their own. On average, each mentor has held more than 2,000 sessions; mentors are experienced in running their own projects and developing more than 300 companies of various size. During the crisis, mentors are ready to share their expertise for free, help businesses find new solutions to scale up and promote their operations. Free training courses that will help entrepreneurs at all levels of online transformation from finding an idea to organizing remote team work are also available on the website.

Just fill out a form on the website to pass the competition for a free online consultation. Winners will get free 60-minute consultations during which mentors will diagnose the business, answer questions and offer a set of measures to streamline operations.

The platform will also regularly host webinars with successful entrepreneurs who have managed to rebuild their businesses during the crisis, as well as representatives of the Sberbank ecosystem who prepared anti-crisis solutions for businesses.

Lev Khasis, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Sberbank,

“Today small and medium-sized businesses face unprecedented challenges and must respond quickly to new circumstances to survive and create new opportunities for themselves. Now is the right time to rethink (and possibly revise) the business model and key processes. Sberbank has a positive experience of working with business mentors to create and develop startups within our accelerators. And now we have managed to gather a community of top mentors in Russia who will try to help entrepreneurs quickly adapt to the crisis and take a new look at their business together.”

The SberUnity anti-crisis platform for small and medium-sized business has been available for entrepreneurs since April 14, 2020.
