The Netherlands is a very strong market for invoice finance. More and more entrepreneurs in the Netherlands are using alternate financing options.

Due to the recent coronavirus outbreak, businesses need options for raising working capital more than ever.

Today Finturi confirmed that it is the latest of the wave of alternate finance providers to receive an approval from the Dutch Authority of Financial Markets to operate in the Netherlands.

“Finturi has been granted an exemption from AFM to operate its platform in the Dutch market”, Johannes Brouwer, CEO, Finturi said. “Small and Medium-sized businesses are very critical to the Dutch economy. Often, these businesses face problems raise working capital. We are very excited to make Finturi generally available in the Dutch market especially during these uncertain times when businesses need capital more than ever. We believe we can provide businesses a loan against the invoice within 24 hours at the best interest rates.” he added.

Launched in September 2018, Finturi uses new technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence to make invoice financing secure, low-cost, quick and easy. It secured funding of 2M euros in Q1 2019 and launched its beta platform in Q3 2019. Finturi operated its beta platform in a controlled environment with select few businesses and financiers in the Netherlands for the past few months and now with this exemption, Finturi opens doors to all the businesses registered with the Dutch chamber of commerce.

While Businesses can directly register on the Finturi platform, given the current situation, to mitigate the risk from the financier side, businesses will have to come to the Finturi platform via their accountants or financial advisors. Finturi is already working with certain parties like 216, who have helped their clients with invoice finance in these uncertain times. “Finturi’s speed of response combined with its secure and affordable invoice financing solution, makes it a great option for our clients who are looking for short term capital injection,” said Hans Hameetman, an accountant with 216. “Finturi has a very transparent and efficient approach to invoice financing” he added.
