Curve, the Over-The-Top banking platform that consolidates multiple cards and accounts into one smart card and even smarter app, has today announced it will be hiring up to 30 new roles in its Bristol office.
Curve hit the headlines last month as it smashed records by raising £4million just minutes after launching its first ever crowdfunding campaign, making it the fastest start up to reach the figure in history.
Following its crowdfunding record and a successful series B funding round in July, in which it secured $55 million from a leading group of investors and achieved a valuation of around $250 million, it has now announced that Bristol has been selected as a key strategic hub to grow its customer team.
Curve’s Customer Experience Team is the heart and soul of the whole business and is the first point of contact for more than 630,000 loyal Curve customers. Due to Curve’s success at home and abroad, the company is set to double its customer base to around 1 million by the end of the year and the current CX team needs to rapidly expand to maintain the high standard of customer service it has set. As Curve continues to grow, it is seeking two top class Customer Squad Leads, two superstar QA and Training Specialists as well as 26 talented Customer Experience Champions. The office is based in the popular Redcliffe area of the city, very close to Temple Meads station.
“We’re thrilled to be able to welcome an additional 30 new talented members to our Bristol team over the coming months,” said Liam Brady, CX lead in Bristol. “There has never been a better time to join Curve and as the company’s reputation and user base continues to grow, now is the ideal time to rapidly enhance our customer team. I don’t think there is a better, more welcoming city in the world than Bristol in which to be able to do that,” he added.
Curve’s Bristol expansion comes amid a wave of new product launches on Curve’s platform. In June, Curve launched Curve Cash which gives Curve customers unlimited 1% instant cashback at leading retailers such as Amazon, Uber, Spotify, Netflix, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and over 100 more retailers. Earlier this year, Curve launched enhanced Curve Customer Protection, protecting customers for purchases made up to £100,000, and Curve subscriptions with Travel Insurance, Gadget Insurance and access to over 1000 airport lounges worldwide.
