HyperFeed Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:HYPR), a PICO company that provides ultra-low latency tools and a proven global platform over which a broad base of third party providers can distribute their market data, content and applications, today announced it has added another senior member to its software development staff.

Eric Dietiker has been appointed as Director, Open Systems Development.

Dietiker will be the chief architect of HyperFeed Technologies' HMDP, widely considered to be the most architecturally open platform available, easily integrating market data from any source into any type of display or application software. He will also be responsible for the HMDP API and product support team.

He begins his new role at HyperFeed Technologies after more than 15 years as a senior member of the TRS development team at Telerate, Inc., which was acquired by Reuters in June 2005, where he held various software development and systems engineering positions. Most recently, he served as the Director of Client Systems Engineering at Reuters, and managed a team of developers and technical support engineers who provided third-level product support and first-level API support for enhanced client level operations.

Previously, Eric served as developer and Senior Systems Architect at Telerate and played an instrumental role in defining the technical and business direction for TRS by developing high-level designs for major system components and specifying changes for improved efficiency and reliability. Prior to that, Eric was a Senior Systems Architect for Dow Jones Markets and developed high-level architecture for the Dow Jones Feed broadcast distribution. He also served as the Manager of Dow Jones Feed Development and led a team of developers who designed and implemented a new real-time digital feed data based on the Dow Jones distribution platform.

"Eric brings to HyperFeed extensive technical ability and proven development skills that will enable us to accelerate the ongoing development of HMDP and OCC as the most flexible, efficient and open market data distribution system in the industry," said Paul Pluschkell, President and CEO of HyperFeed. "His expertise will benefit HyperFeed and our customers as we continue to enhance our technology to meet the challenges faced in today's financial community."

Eric began his career in 1984 as a software engineer at Design Ware, Inc. developing educational games and tools for microcomputers and later held two software development positions at Basys, Inc. Eric earned his bachelor's of science degree in computer science from San Francisco State University.
