NatWest Markets has appointed Silicon Valley native, Kirk Wylie, as Head of Financing & Risk Solutions Technology, where he will lead on the further digitisation of the business.
He joins from State Street, where he served as EMEA Head of Architecture and Global Head of Application Platform services.
Mr Wylie has taken up the position today and will also lead the Agile Adoption practice across NatWest Markets Technology. He has repeatedly been named in the ‘Fintech Top 40’, Institutional Investor’s ‘Tech 50’, and as one of Business Insider’s ’50 Coolest People in UK Technology’.
Commenting on the appointment, John Smith, Chief Information Officer at NatWest Markets, said: “This is a significant hire not only for my team, but for our bank as a whole.
