Asset Control, a leading provider of reliable, high-performance solutions for financial data management, has appointed Eddie Grant as Head of Managed Services, in a move designed to further drive the growth of its managed services offerings.
In a newly developed role, Eddie will be based at Asset Control’s London headquarters.
Eddie’s appointment comes at a time when Asset Control is increasing focus on operational fulfillment and service delivery following the launch and customer rollout of its AC Platform as a Scalable Service (AC PaSS). AC PaSS enables financial services firms to streamline their operations, source data management on a use case by use case basis, augment and supplement existing infrastructures or adopt as part of a broader transformation. This allows firms to lower their cost of change and make it more predictable.
Before joining Asset Control, Eddie was Head of Service Design/Pre-Sales within the managed services area at Hitachi Consulting EMEA, where he was responsible for leading the cloud services pre-sales team ensuring managed services growth. In all, he has around 20 years’ delivery and service experience for large and complex IT transformation programmes.
In his new post, Eddie will focus on delivering the full spectrum of Asset Control’s managed services from hosting and application management to testing and documentation as well as growing the delivery team. AC PaSS devotes specific attention to client-side last mile integration, ensuring that service delivery is seamlessly integrated into business user workflows.
Head of Operations at Asset Control Simon Rayfield said: “Eddie’s cross-industry experience and expertise in delivery within large service organisations will be invaluable to us as we grow our service delivery and IT transformation capability and continue to roll-out our AC PaSS managed services offering. We will increasingly need this expert capability as the business continues to grow.”
Eddie added: “I am looking forward to working as part of the global Asset Control team to further build on the success we have already achieved through our AC PaSS service both by ensuring we continue to meet and exceed client expectations and by redefining managed services in financial data management across a wide range of use cases.”
