The Financial Service Bus (FSB) is an innovative solution designed to address the continuously changing and demanding nature of today's inter-banking communications. Financial service institutions, such as banks, insurance companies and brokerage houses share many common challenges with their IT infrastructures, such as ensuring reliable transactions between branches, customers and partners as well as handling the ever increasing transaction volume.

Coridan's FSB extends the back-office capabilities of banks and brokerages and eliminates transaction delays and errors between geographically separated systems, thus guaranteeing the highest Quality of Service level with on-time delivery and execution. The FSB provides a remote connection which is both secure and reliable. Fully equipped with standard interfaces, the FSB allows seamless communication between applications written in different languages that exchange data using different message formats (SWIFT, FIX, XML). Applications can access the FSB using JMS (Java, .NET and C++ implementations), Web-services, HTTP, PHP or RMI. In addition, the FSB enables the bridging between applications and existing back-office systems such as IBM's Websphere MQ Series or Tibco's Rendezvous.

The FSB is easy to deploy and offers an almost immediate return on investment. Its simplicity and virtually unlimited scalability provide a low TCO and compatibility with future system upgrades or changes. The FSB is ideal for heterogeneous, distributed, high-traffic environments, helping financial organizations dramatically reduce hardware and operational costs while improving the quality of service.
