Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ:PEGA), the leader in smart business process management announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance agreement with Knowledge Rules, Inc., a global BPM services firm focused on providing Pegasystems-based solutions to the financial services, insurance and healthcare industries.
Under the terms of the agreement, Knowledge Rules will offer consulting and implementation services to organizations deploying Pegasystems' flagship PegaRULES Process Commander (PRPC) software, PRPC-based industry frameworks, or legacy PegaWORKS product line.
Pegasystems will provide training and certification to Knowledge Rules consulting staff members for Pegasystems products. This relationship will enable Knowledge Rules to leverage Pegasystems support personnel and services and provide Pegasystems access to Knowledge Rules BPM consulting services expertise in financial services and healthcare.

Knowledge Rules currently provides extensive product and industry expertise to existing companies who have deployed legacy Pegasystems products.
Knowledge Rules senior consultants average over eight years of PegaWORKS experience. Many of these customers are now looking to leverage their existing investment in PegaWORKS while moving to the next generation PegaRULES platform. "The Pegasystems PRPC product line offers customer the most powerful and scalable rule-based solution on the market. We plan to develop comprehensive tools and processes to help PegaWORKS customers integrate with PegaRULES and eventually migrate to PegaRULES," said Ron Rock, CEO of Knowledge Rules.
