Chase adds gift cards to mobile app

Chase today announced that customers can now send gift cards from more than 60 top retailers quickly and easily through the Chase Mobile App or chase.com.

Available to spend: Immediately when it arrives in the recipient’s email inbox

How to use it: Senders can click on Gifting in their digital menu. Recipients can redeem directly from their email by scanning the barcode at checkout or entering the code online

Any Chase customer with a consumer checking account can send digital gift cards to a recipient in the US. Chase will keep improving digital gifting throughout the year.
