Enigmatec Corporation, a provider of grid computing technology for the financial services industry, has appointed Mark Lobene, Vice President of Sales, effective immediately.

Lobene, based in Enigmatec's newly created New York office, is responsible for leading the company's global sales and expanding usage of its grid computing technology - Reactive Intelligent Framework - by the financial services community.

"This is a very exciting time to be joining Enigmatec," says Lobene. "We've entered an emerging market at the right time with a proven product in the Reactive Intelligent Framework for grid computing. I'm eager to help fulfil the technology needs of our financial services clients with our policy-based management solutions."

Lobene brings over 20 years of technology and financial markets leadership experience to Enigmatec, most recently as vice president, financial services, for Sapient Corporation (SAPE). In this role, Lobene built and managed a domestic staff to support the North American Operations and played a key role in SAPE's European expansion.

Previously, Lobene spent eight years as managing director, North American business development, at TIBCO's predecessor company, Teknekron Software Systems. In this role, he anchored the New York office, spearheaded the creation of Chicago and Toronto-based offices and was instrumental in sales and development in the UK. Prior to TIBCO, Lobene was director of New York sales for Vista Concepts where he co-led the positioning of international securities and trust systems and services.

"Mark's appointment to our newly opened New York office signifies our commitment to the U.S. market," says Indra Mohan, CEO, Enigmatec. "His sales aptitude and proven track record for leading and managing successful teams, combined with Enigmatec's process-orientated middleware, will equip him to manage Enigmatec’s acceleration into the enterprise grid services space. We are pleased to welcome another strong candidate to our highly skilled team."
